To make matters worse（更糟糕的是）, they might collude（勾结） and damage the company’s interests（损害公司利益）. The consequences（后果） would be unthinkable.（不敢想象）。
Just thinking about all this gives him a headache（头痛）, makes him anxious（焦虑）, and keeps him awake at night（睡不着、失眠）.

今天跟大家聊一点八卦、你们公司允不允许办公室恋情。
我朋友老王是一家公司的老板，有20-30名员工。4月1号的时候我俩约饭，闲聊期间，发现他有点心事。于是我就问他是不是最近遇到什么烦心事了。
不曾想，听到了一个小八卦。
他说：“如果你是我，同事之间谈恋爱，你会怎么办？”
这问题可以是难到我了，我只是一名普通员工。办公室恋情在我看来纯属于八卦，其他的好像不影响。但是站在老板的角度，那可不一样，里面可涉及到不少因素。
但是老王既然问了，我就要接话。“他们在同一个部门吗？”我不是老板，不太清楚期间的利弊，你可以说一下你的看法嘛。
老王说，恋爱本身不影响工作。可一旦分手，两人在同一家公司天天见面，其中一方很可能会离职。当然，他们也可能结婚。那样一来，他们会一起休婚假、产假，公司会同时缺两个人。
更糟的是，他们可能串通起来损害公司利益，后果不堪设想。（有上下级关系或者利益部门，那么就会有影响）
一想到这些，他就头疼、焦虑，整夜睡不着。
